Viele wertvolle liturgische Gegenst\u00e4nde waren Geschenke prominenter Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten wie Bischof Thomas Hren, Erzherzogin Maria und Adelsfamilien wie die Auerspergs, Codellis, Rossis, Colaltos und viele andere. Diese Wohlt\u00e4ter spendeten Ziborien, Kelche, Reliquiare und andere sakrale Objekte.\r\n\r\nBischof Hren, einer der wichtigsten F\u00f6rderer, schenkte der Kirche 1608 das ber\u00fchmte silberne Ziborium \u2013 bemerkenswerterweise das einzige St\u00fcck aus dieser Zeit, das bis heute erhalten ist. Historische Quellen belegen, dass viele wertvolle liturgische Gegenst\u00e4nde in Augsburg in Auftrag gegeben wurden, einem der f\u00fchrenden Goldschmiedezentren Mitteleuropas, Heimat von Meistern wie J. Zeckel und A. I. Drentwett. Ein bemerkenswertes Beispiel ist die reich verzierte silberne Ewige Lampe, die 1722 vom Krainer Adligen J. A. Rasp in Auftrag gegeben wurde.\r\n\r\nBesonders faszinierend ist die Geschichte der Gegenst\u00e4nde, die nach 1773 erworben wurden, als der Jesuitenorden aufgel\u00f6st wurde und ein Brand 1774 gro\u00dfe Teile des Kircheninneren zerst\u00f6rte. Damals wurden viele Wertgegenst\u00e4nde eingeschmolzen, um die Restaurierung der Kirche zu finanzieren. Dennoch haben einige bemerkenswerte St\u00fccke \u00fcberlebt: ein silbernes Pax von 1724, Kelche von 1728, ein reich verziertes Ziborium und ein silbernes Rauchfass von 1752 sowie eine aufwendige Rokoko-Monstranz, die 1755 in Wien in Auftrag gegeben wurde.\r\n\r\nDie erhaltenen Goldschmiedearbeiten in der Kirche tragen oft Meistermarken, die eine detaillierte kunsthistorische Analyse erm\u00f6glichen. Zu den herausragenden erhaltenen St\u00fccken geh\u00f6rt ein Kelch von Leopold Vogtner aus Graz, bekannt f\u00fcr seine reiche Ornamentik und emaillierten Medaillons mit Szenen aus der Jakobskirche.\r\n\r\nIm 18. Jahrhundert entstanden auch bemerkenswerte Werke von Laibacher Goldschmieden wie Andreas und Josef Piringer, Jakob Schmid und Matev\u017e Schreiner, deren neobarocke Kirchenausstattung aus dem 19. Jahrhundert besonders gesch\u00e4tzt wird.\r\n\r\nIn j\u00fcngerer Zeit wurde die Sammlung der Kirche durch Werke lokaler Laibacher Metallk\u00fcnstler wie Ivan Kregar, Janez Dernov\u0161ek und der Gie\u00dferei Samass bereichert. Die liturgischen Gef\u00e4\u00dfe der Jakobskirche bleiben somit ein au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliches Beispiel k\u00fcnstlerischen Erbes, das die Entwicklung der Goldschmiedekunst von der Renaissance bis
