Candlestick description
This elegant candlestick from the first half of the 18th century is made of silver-plated sheet metal and represents an outstanding example of Baroque art. Its three-sided base with volutes at the corners supports an articulated stem ending in a dish and a spike for the candle. The base is richly decorated with a flat shell motif in the center of each of the three panels, while the stem features a pronounced ribbon-like ornamental design, giving the candlestick a refined and luxurious appearance.
