Description of the Eternal Light
Shape: A bulbous vessel that narrows toward the bottom and expands toward the neck, where an oil container is inserted.
Decoration: Embossed bands, finely detailed acanthus leaves with tendrils, vases with flower bouquets, and individual large blossoms richly cover the eternal light.
Hangers: Three volute-shaped holders in the form of acanthus leaves, to which well-modeled winged angelic herms are attached.
Medallions: Three oval relief scenes from the life of St. Francis Xavier:
- Baptism of Indigenous people
- Healing of the sick
- Conversion of the sick

Historical Background
The eternal light was crafted in Augsburg.
Donor: Johann Adam Rasp, owner of Krumperk Castle.
His wife, Countess Mariana née Fürnpeil, donated funds the year before (1721) for an even more elaborate eternal light with ten candles, which unfortunately has not been preserved.
